Calabasas - Where The Celebrities Live
You may have heard of the city of Calabasas since this is where the Kardashians and Jenners live, but there is much more to this city than that! It has a plethora of shops, restaurants, and many nature scenic sites. The Malibu Creek State Park is one of the most popular places to visit in Southern California which boasts over 8,000 acres of land. Also, Calabasas has always been a place where successful business men and women have lived for over 150 years. Some of residences have been titled as historical landmarks and tourists are able to get a flash back into history. With all the sites to see, you or your family may get exhausted or sick. Doctor2me can have a doctor see you at your hotel, office or home for a same day appointment. We even offer tele-visits if you prefer to see a doctor this way!
Things to Do
One of the top things to do in Calabasas is visiting the Malibu Creek State Park. Due to the beautiful scenery, hundreds of shows and movies have been filmed here. There are creeks, gorges, waterfalls, and volcanic cliffs to see. You can also setup a campsite and spend the day or night in the park. The Commons at Calabasas is another place you can walk and explore. However, this location also has shopping and places to eat. While here, you can see koi ponds, turtles, and other wildlife while you walk around. People also bring their animals, so feel free to bring your dog(s)! If you want to go back in time, The Leonis Adobe, built in 1844, is one of the oldest surviving buildings in the San Fernando Valley. It is now a museum and historical attraction where people can see an old style ranch of the late 1800s. You can take a tour of the ranch and also see ranch animals. You can even feed and pet the animals! Heard of the razor brand Gillette? Head to the King Gillette Ranch, built in the 1920s, to see wildlife, meadows, and grassland at this Spanish Colonial Revival style mansion. You’re able to walk around, bike, picnic, and take amazing photos of the area.
