Dr Spurlock is a graduate of UMass Medical school and currently resides in San Diego, where she works as a physician in internal medicine. She finished her residency at Scripps Mercy Hospital and worked many years as a hospitalist before pursuing primary care. While she enjoys a holistic approach of taking care of the whole person, she has developed a particular passion for weight loss using current modalities and medications as needed, along with lifestyle changes. She truly enjoys assisting her patients in thriving, living their life as free of medications and chronic illnesses as possible.
