Things to Do

Located in the eastern Santa Monica Mountains off of Laurel Canyon, Wilacre Park boasts 128 acres of nature scenery. It has hiking paths, scenic and valley views. There is a large parking lot and picnic tables to eat lunch with your friends and family! It is not that difficult to hike, so beginners are welcome. If you want to stroll through Hollywood’s historic glitz and glamour time, Decor Art Galleries has a historic collection of photographs from actresses, actors, movies, sports, pets, directors, sports, award shows, etc. They have behind-the-scenes photos of film and shows that you cant find anywhere else.

The Garland, which has been around for 50 years, is a chic, fun, retro hotel that is surrounded by lush green acres but is also close to the most visited spots in LA. At this hotel, you can swim by the pool, watch shows in your room on a flat screen TV, bring your pet, play board games or Foosball at the outdoor patio, etc. They have a store downstairs to purchase mementos from your visit. Blvd Hotel and Spa is another modern, hip place to stay in Studio City. It has an indoor pool, lounge, fitness room, cafe and bar. Where to Eat

If you want to go to a place where you can taste a bite of food from around the world, head to Black Market Liquor Bar for weeknight dinner or weekend brunch. Dinner is served starting at 5pm daily and Saturday/Sunday brunch is 11am-3pm. Here you can dine in, pick up your order, or have it delivered by the restaurant. You can enjoy oysters, pasta, steak, fried chicken, french fries, and various desserts. Granville is an American cuisine eatery with upscale indoor and outdoor dining. Their motto is “Come As You Are” meaning the restaurant embodies love, culture, gratitude, in life and in business. They offer brunch, lunch, dinner, and full bar. The food is made from scratch daily and is local, organic, and certified humane when possible. You can enjoy mac & cheese, salads, burgers, pasta, fish, fries, and a large unique cocktail list.
